  • Every conversion request should be sent to the Virtua_LM team in a private and polite way.
  • Each request will be analyzed according to the project's quality and the people involved.
  • Those conditions are applicable to each part where authorization can be granted.
  • The authorization is granted to one people/team a time to ensure the best quality possible.
  • Reasonable technical support can be provided if needed.
  • Virtua_LM keeps the right to cancel the authorizations if the previous requirements aren't respected during the development.

    Virtua_LM is pleased to announce that our courses are in the process of being converted and will be released for GTL, GTR2, and Race07.
    We are very happy to have derDumeklemmer join us a member of the team to help with this effort. His expertise will help insure that all features of those games will be fully implemented.
    The reason for this decision is that the recent release of SimEd3D v2.0 has made it possible to have a direct conversion to those platforms with no loss in the quality that we have worked so hard to achieve. We are doing this ourselves because a correct 1-to-1 conversion can be done only from the original source files and not from just the GMT files.
    For our next courses we hope to have simultaneous releases for all four platforms that we will support. We have no release dates planned and there will be none given.

    F1C Prototype-C tracks conversion

  • The following tracks are property of the Virtua_LM team :
    Fuji, Jerez (Prototype-C version), Phoenix, Rolex 24, Rouen-les-Essarts.
  • Few other tracks contain Virtua_LM textures. Virtua_LM got an authorization of their respective author to use and modify those tracks. Then, conversion should start by asking the original creator.

  • Rouen-Les-Essarts : Part of public domain. No need to request to modify or convert this track.

  • Re-use of the Virtua_LM tracks for F1C : can be granted.
  • Re-use of Virtua_LM textures for other tracks (whatever platform) : can be granted.
  • Conversion to SCGT : can be granted.
  • Conversion to GTR : the requested quality can't be reached with the current tools : not allowed.
  • Conversion to rFactor : can be granted if ISI toolkit is used.
  • Conversion to GTL : the requested quality can't be reached with the current tools : not allowed.
  • Conversion to GTR2 : the requested quality can't be reached with the current tools : not allowed.
  • Conversion to other platforms (not ISI based) : can be granted.

    • LM99 Mod conversion
    Conversion is now free for everyone, whatever the platform.

    Prototype-C Mod conversion

  • Conversion to SCGT : already granted to a bunch of people in memory of our so loved first modding platform.
  • Conversion to GTR : not allowed.
  • Conversion to rFactor : Conversion and enhancement in progress by the Virtua_LM Junior Team.
  • Conversion to GTL : not allowed.
  • Conversion to GTR2 : not allowed.
  • Conversion to other platforms (not ISI based) : can be granted.

  • SCGT (Sports Car GT) is property of EA Sports and Image Space Incorporated.
  • F1C (F1 Challenge 99-02) is property of EA Sports and Image Space Incorporated.
